I rather quickly put this logo together for a program that matches up veteran professional journalists (mentors) with student and newly-minted pros (mentees, which I’m not sure is a word?). It’s like a dating site if the goal of dating were professional improvement and gratification. So maybe it’s more like LinkedIn I guess, except without the 10 e-mails a day from people you barely know who want to connect with you on LinkedIn.
Anyway, the program’s still going and I did this two or three years ago, so I guess it’s a success. I don’t want to say it’s because of the logo, because I’m modest, but it probably is. And everybody knows it.
