As I’ve done in years past, I designed a “Redefining Retirement” section for Tribune Media. For some reason, I’ve designated this section as the one I go nuts for when it comes to original art, and this year, I went for a comic book look. I figured for sure it would get rejected in spectacular fashion, but no such thing — people loved it, and retired Americans who got the section are expected to live an average of 200 years longer. It was that effective.
